This classic 1960's two-storey residence was purchased from the original owners. Untouched and with great bones, it was a joy to restore it back to its former glory whilst undertaking a renovation to suit contemporary living. Materials and fixtures were reused and repurposed: effective (for time and costs) and importantly, respected the style of the house. Using bold colour, pattern and detail, the interiors also highlight the original timber floors, joinery, pelmets and staircase. This project strikes the perfect balance between time-honoured pieces and current trends. Including much-loved existing furniture, contemporary styling and my bespoke wallpaper resulted in a sentimental, warm and unique space. It’s a home that makes you smile.
